A Restorative Yoga Retreat for Stress Relief

Embracing the season's natural shift towards rest and renewal, this retreat is designed to help participants release stress, reconnect with their breath, and restore inner calm. Through guided breathing exercises, gentle yoga flows, and mindfulness practices, attendees will learn tools for managing stress, cultivating balance, and breathing deeply into each moment of this vibrant season.

A yoga therapy-based autumn retreat focused on stress management, breathing, and relaxation. This program incorporates gentle and restorative yoga, therapeutic breathing, mindfulness, and reflective activities to help participants unwind, manage stress, and build resilience.​​

THE PRACTICES

Opening Circle: Introduction to Breath and Stress Relief

A welcoming session where participants introduce themselves, set intentions, and learn about the power of breathwork in stress management. Creates a safe, calming space to begin the retreat.

Restorative Yoga for Grounding A gentle, supportive practice using props to hold poses comfortably. Designed to ease tension, ground the body, and calm the mind, helping participants settle into a relaxed state.

Evening Meditation: Breathing with the Season

A guided meditation focusing on mindful breathing, inviting participants to connect with the slower, reflective energy of autumn.

Morning Breathing 

A morning breathwork session for gentle techniques to balance the mind, reduce stress, and improve focus.

Yoga for Stress & Tension Release

Gentle yoga based on yoga therapy practices, targeting areas prone to holding stress, such as the neck, shoulders, and lower back. Involves mindful movement to promote release and relaxation.

Guided Nature Walk with Breath Awareness

A walking meditation that encourages participants to match their breath with their steps, deepening mindfulness and connection with nature.

Workshop: Understanding Stress and the Breath

We will learn about the body’s stress response and practical breathing techniques (e.g., diaphragmatic breathing, lengthened exhalations) that participants can use daily to manage stress.

Yoga Nidra (Guided Relaxation)

A deeply relaxing guided meditation.

Sound Bath and Breath Meditation

A sound therapy experience paired with breathwork to encourage relaxation. 

Closing Circle & Reflection

A closing gathering where participants reflect on their experiences, share insights, and set intentions for integrating stress management practices into their lives.

Double shared room for 2 people : 4500 NOK per person

* Natural Joy Yoga retreats are  limited to a small group (10-12 ppl)  in order to assure a powerful and intimate experience. ​

  • Please do bring a large bath towel, which we will use as a prop (roll)
